I had an orthodontist appt early this a.m. Let me tell how great it is to be 35 and wear braces! Thanks mom and dad-ha! I do find it quite entertaining as I am surrounded by angst-ridden teens who get in trouble with the orthodontist because they don't do what she tells them. Also it's funny to hear the cheery assistants ask them how they are doing and they are all "we are too cool to answer you with a good or fine, you just get a uunnhh"-some sort of noise only annoyed teenagers can make!
The ASSistant I had today was just that, an ASS! One of my brackets had come off and silly me, I forgot to call and tell them that. She lectured me on if that happens again I need to call them ASAP, EVEN if I already have an appt that day! This is after she told me that I should have called in and she didn't know if she could fix it today. I told her it was no big deal, that I could just come back, since apparently this and the war with Iraq are my fault. She went whispering about to the other assistants and leaves me with my head hanging back in the chair for 10 minutes or so. She comes back and tells me to move to another chair and another assistant would fix the bracket. Um okay, but I love you and your warm fuzzy bedside manner. Are you sure you can't fix it for me???
Enough of that. Let's head to the homefront where my 5 year old boy threw a one pound weight at my 10 week old son! WTF? Good thing I have the reflexes of a 35 year old and blocked it with my forearm. I just don't understand what would possess one to throw a weight at someone's head. Add to that my 2 year old's whining all day and I ask myself why don't I drink? I need to go to bed. My youngest will want to eat soon!

I AM that good!
Wow, I had some prolific post typed up and I forgot to save it! That's a great start! This will be a recording of my daily life versus entertainment for the masses-because I just know the masses will be reading this. As my description says, I am a SAHM trying to make sense of it all. Some days are all BIG MONEY, while some days are a big WHAMMY! But all of my days are spent with my kids and for that I am grateful!
